FAQ Section

Yes, to apply for Visitor/Tourist visa for Italy, applicants will need to book an appointment at the Visa Application Center (VAC).

Yes, when granted the Italy visitor visa, you are eligible to travel to other Schengen Countries & memeber states.

The standard processing time is typically 15 to 30 calendar days after your file is submitted at the Visa Application Center. However, during peak travel seasons (May to August) or if the embassy requests additional documents, processing can take up to 45 days. We highly recommend applying at least 6 to 8 weeks before your intended travel date.

In most cases, a formal interview is not required for a short-stay Type-C visa. You will simply submit your documents and provide biometrics (fingerprints and digital photo) at the designated Visa Application Center. However, the Italian Embassy reserves the right to call any applicant for a brief interview if they need further clarification regarding your application.
